This item allows you to add your own pendants that have smaller bails on to necklaces such as wide Herringbones, Omegas and pearls/beads. Works best with pendants that have a "O" ring style bail, lying facing (see picture) or with a split ring

Works well with open style pendants that click on and add interest to necklaces. It can serve as a shortener/gatherer for pearls or beads

It can also be used when a clasp breaks on a necklace; it allows you to wear it by attaching this piece as a clasp
